Our SDG Contributions

deepC Store is committed to the core principle of delivering value through sustainable development.  In that context, deepC Store uses the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals to set relevant and meaningful business objectives and conduct activities that are consistent with these objectives.

As an originator and developer of commercial scale carbon abatement projects, we conduct our business to contribute particularly to:

• Goal 7 - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all

• Goal 9 - Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation

• Goal 13 - Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Furthermore, deepC Store is committed to upholding the principles set out in the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights and ILO’s Declaration of Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work for promoting human rights, equal opportunity and elimination of all form of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.  deepC Store contributes particularly to:

• Goal 3 - Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

• Goal 5 - Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

• Goal 8 - Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

As part of our considerations to minimise our environmental footprint for originating and developing CCS projects, deepC Store takes action to contribute to:

• Goal 12 - Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

• Goal 14 - Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

• Goal 15 - Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss

What is SDG?

SDGs stand for Sustainable Development Goals. They consist of 17 goals and 169 targets that were set forth in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 for providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.
